Will it be possible to have "Zero Downtime Deployments" in MAS which uses Kubernetes?

    Dear Maximo Community,

Are there any pre-requirements that need to be considered which can help to achieve Zero Downtime Deployment in MAS?

What will be the constraints involved in this?

Since the apps will be containerized is it possible to do all infrastructure-related activities such as OS patching, Database Upgrade, OpenShift/Docker updates, MAS Upgrade, IFix deployment, Update DB, Config DB, etc. without shutting the MAS down.

    Hello Shashank,

OpenShift allows high availability environments. When it has to update itself, the update is made node per node to always stay available.
For the MAS Layer, you will face connectivity issues during the upgrade. Even if MAS is containerized, the infrastructure under Manage is quite similar to Maximo, requiring shut down for UpdateDB, upgrades, etc.
