    Hi,

    What's a reason that System Location does not have a corresponding column in HMC's table view? Neither in V9, nor in V10.

    I have to copy location value to Description field to see my system locations at a glance.

    I too was tempted to say that this looks like a RFE (oops, Idea) situation. 

    I submitted a similar Idea In January 2022 (yep, not a typo) where at V10 the Partitions display no longer has a column for the IPL Source, like it did at V9.  See https://ideas.ibm.com/ideas/HMC-I-328

    It is currently showing as Planned for future release.... I am doubtful of this though as standard support for V10 ends 31 December 2026. I have however not yet given up hope. 

    Curious to know if both missing columns are in V11.

    I can confirm that neither column is on V11 and are not on the list of columns to customize.

    Hi Dennis,
    I often have discussions with customers about this. Many of my customers want more functions from a single interface.
    That's why we offer them their own interface that better represents their system landscape.
    For example, location or data center.
    If you would like to try out the free tool, feel free to send me an email.

    In the example, you see datacenter 1 on the left and datacenter 2 on the right.
    On other screens, you also have an LPAR list, and you can sort it according to your own criteria (e.g., FlashCopy LPARs, etc.). In the VIO view, you have a small GUI for the VIO server.
