I was wondering if we were the only ones of thinking of load balancing to TM1Web, PAW and RemoteApps client servers (PAX, Perspectives and Architect).
As we're still building our new infra, I was wondering if there is someone more advance on this topic who could share their experience ?

It's fairly common to load balance TM1Web.  Number of servers to run TM1Web on will depend on number of concurrent users.  

You can't really load balance Perspectives, Architect, and Performance Modeler as these are desktop applications. However, it is possible to run these clients on multiple Citrix systems (I think this is called a Citrix farm) or multiple terminal servers.

Workspace can also be load balanced assuming you are running the distributed install of Workspace.  We currently support Docker Swarm on Linux and are working on adding Kubernetes support also on Linux within the next few releases.  Assuming you are using Planning Analytics for MS Excel in hubless mode, and have Workspace load balanced, you should be able to point Planning Analytics for MS Excel to the load balancer URL for Workspace.

For TM1Web and Workspace you need to bring your own load balancer to load balance traffic to these applications.  Very little configuration required for load balancing with either of these applications.
