Maximo's flexibility is beautiful: you can often build in what you wish was built in but which didn't come out of the box.
In this case, I would change the ALLWO relationship on ASSET. Out of the box, its where clause,
assetnum = :assetnum and siteid=:siteid, is falling short of what you want to see. So, change it to something like this:
(assetnum, siteid) in (select assetnum, siteid from asset where assetid = :assetid)You can now use App Designer to put a tab+table in the Assets application that will show you all the historical work on that asset, regardless of the site it was at when the work was done.

Subject: Where's the Rotating Asset's Work History?
I just popped on and did the IoT Academy for Asset Management, and it looks like this is how the system was built. It creates a new history at each Site, making it difficult to pull up a collective Work History for a specific Asset. But looking at the database, it appears that ASSET.ASSETID remains constant when I move an Asset between Sites, or change the Asset's number. I'll see if my IT department can display this field under the Asset application and make it a query-able field under Work Order Tracking. I wish there was built in functionality to view all the WOs under the current active Asset.

Hi Gail,
Yes, thinking the work history should follow the asset across sites. Wondering if perhaps your search is being filtered by site? Could check your own user profile setting? Included screen shot image. Let us know if that helps.
Also, curious to learn how asset numbers are being changed between sites - is this asset.assetnum? Via UI or scripting extension?
