    SFTP  is a  Secure File Transfer over SSH.   SSH protocol creates a secure communications channel for TCP Connection. 

    Also, SSL/TLS are also protocols for creating a secure communication channel for a TCP connection.  SSL/TLS  are applicable to HTTPS, FTPS etc.,

    In B2BI  SFTP  is based on SSH V2.
