What do the pairwise comparisons mean?

  • 1.  What do the pairwise comparisons mean?

We've been running Friedman tests and are struggling to understand the output of the post-hoc tests. Can someone tell us how to interpret the "pairwise comparison" diagram, where "each node shows the sample number of successes).

A link to tutorial would be appreciated; all the ones we find talk about orange lines displaying significance, and our charts are blue and red.

I think there will be some improvements in the labelling of this chart, but this information may help/

    Color

    • The color can have two values, 1 and 2. What color those map to depend on your color scheme. A value of 1 means the adjusted significance level is greater than the significance level . A value of two means that the adjusted significance level is less than or equal to the alpha.

    Weight

    • The weight is calculated with this formula: 1. / ( ( 1. - sig ) * ( 1. - sig ) )
