    WebSphere Commerce is an offering targeted to meet a specific set of business needs, while the Web 2.0 and Mobile Feature Pack is more generalized.  WebSphere Commerce is not currently based upon the Feature Pack and product plans for a transition have not been finalized.

    WebSphere Commerce v7 is mainly based on SOA based architecture with an incline to move to multi-channel eCommerce platform. With contrast to v6 you can easily add new cannel like mobile, IPAD app etc which uses same existing code base.
