With Very Very Very Very few exceptions we don't put feature function back. Features go into the current and next releases. If we put new features into old releases we would never be able to put out new function?
We do port back fixes and security updates, but for general features - those go forward.
Also - don't be afraid to pick up a non-LTS if there is a feature you need. The impact is they will have to update to the next non-LTS or LTS to pick up features, but they are no different to the LTS .0/.1 releases. They are fully tested released that go through the same test cycles as we have for LTS releases.
But as stated by multiple people, 8.7.0 has shipped and is the next LTS, so anything you wanted to pick up from 8.6.1, 8.6.2 or 8.6.3 will be in 8.7.0.

Thank you for your reply
I understand that the "refreshfromsnapshot" function is available in Non-LTS 8.6.2 or higher.
Our customer is using LTS 8.6.0.4 version.
Do you know when this function will be available in LTS 8.6.0.X version ?

Thank you so much
I have additional questions.
At volume group thick clones, the thick clones target volumes become independent volumes and At volume group thin clones does the relationship between volume group snapshots remain?
Like as old flashcopy clone, old flashcopy snapshot

Hi,
- Why do you need thick clones if you only read and backup? you can use thin clones for that.
- Yes you can use the new "refreshfromsnapshot" command to do that. check the syntax of the refreshfromsnapshot command

Hi everyone, I have a question about Volume group thick clones
I would like to backup by attaching a clone volumes to the backup server.
Is it possible to repeatedly create a volume group thick clone with the same target volumes every day like the previous Flashcopy backup method?
