    Hello Mohamed,

The following sections of our documentation describe VIO and HA
    interactions:
In the HACMP planning guide for HACMP 5.5.0, Section:
    HACMP and Virtual Ethernet (VLAN)
    and
    HACMP and virtual SCSI

Also, There is information in the
HACMP/XD Metro Mirror: Planning and Administration Guide that
provides some information about setting up a VIO server with SVC based PPRC.

There is also an important APAR that needs to be
installed, and also the description in the APAR read and
understood, and the environment configured as described:

IZ01332: NEW NETMON FUNCTIONALITY TO SUPPORT HACMP ON VIO
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg1IZ01332
The current PowerHA "flash" describing the current supported level of VIO
    with HA is located here:
    http://www-03.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/WebIndex/FLASH10635

There is also a redbook that describes dynamic lpars, and virtualization
    including details about vio:
    http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/redpapers/pdfs/redp4027.pdf
We do not maintain an internal document that details a step by step process
    of creating this configuration.

Hope that this helps to get you started on your VIO configuration.
Please let me know if I can close this PMR,
    Thanks

    Casey
