    I was asked to provide our experience with vHMC using VMWare and vMotion capabilities.    We have started with VMWare 6.0 and just upgraded to 6.5 ESXi on 3 primary Test/Pot/POC 1U IBM System x Servers.  All our servers boot from USB ESXi keys and our DataStore runs on iSCSI attached IBM V3700.   We have not seen any issues with vMotion in this 3 server setup which is setup as a Cluster using HA / DR functions.   When I do use vMotion I will get Compatibility issue messages in regard to the Virtual ethernet  adapters and just ignore them and no lost of access during the vMotion occurs.   Some other items I will point out is that all 3 servers have been setup exactly the same with network and isci cabling and port usage on each server.   1) In this environment cloning servers will cause issues due to UUID issues so don't CLONE,  deploy out every server with the .ovf file and run through the installer GUI.  2) Use Snapshot before any major update to the vHMC code levels  3) Suspending vHMC while doing server updates/upgrades has worked great for our environment as well.
