I am not able to publish to the server. I keep getting the same error when trying to run server in RAD 7.0.  Would really appreciate any help.

I'm sorry, but there's not nearly enough info here. What specific version of RAD (rational application developer, right?).  What's the specific version of the WTE (websphere test environment)?

What errors are you seeing? Has the publish step ever worked before, or is this a new installation?

Hi Bill, thanks for your response.

    • I am using Rational Application Developer, version 7.0.0.3

Here is what I have been doing so far.

    1. Ran the server, minimal changes made to JSP
    2. Opened in browser and there were no changes. - I am assuming this means they aren't publishing to my server.

I tried to exit and restart, adding and removing projects to push the changes. It's very time-consuming. Thanks for taking a look.

Are you running with resources in the workspace? (This is a setting on the WAS configuration in RAD). If not, set this accordingly. Otherwise, you will have to republish every time.

Also, version 7 is almost an antique. Why don't you upgrade to the lateset version (9.5)? You'll get Java 8 support, and its backwards compatible. You can use the embedded Software Analyzer to scan for incompatibilities.

Hi Kenny, you make a good point. Sounds like updating to the latest version would save me a lot of headache. I'll go that route. Thanks for everyone's help.
