We're working on testing functionality in CA 11, and I'm trying to build a dashboard. I understand you have to have designate the data source, but I need my data to come from user-generated sql.
(These particular tables are not in any of our packages.) Everything I've seen tries to point you to uploaded files, packages, data servers, etc. but the only way I can access the data is from a sql query. Is there a way to use sql queries for a dashboard datasource? I've been tinkering for about an hour and haven't found a way to do it.

Not in the 11.0 release, but in 11.1 you'll be able to create tables in a data module off of custom SQL, which will accomplish this goal nicely.
