  • 1.  User Cannot run a Report

    Hello,

    I'm looking for the steps to take to add a user to a report I have recently created. I'm a little new to Cognos. User has been able to run
    other reports (not from me), but does not seem to be able to run the one I just created.

    What error is she getting? Did you saved in a folder that does not have permisison

    Richard Stacy – yes, an image would be great.  The following are the possible causes:

    -          User just doesn't have the capability to run reports

    -          Permissions on the underlying data source (e.g. query package, data module, etc...)
