Hello all,

we have installed CA 11.1.3 on our database and reporting server. On this server we are also collecting some other data files (csv) which we want to load into CA.

Do someone know how we can import this data files directly to CA without downloading it first to a notebook to upload it to CA?

File uploads are limited to a user action using the browser to upload the data file.

Do you have the Jupyter Notebooks integration configured? You could potentially use that if automation is what you're after, as you can import data with Jupyter and you can schedule notebooks to run. If you have further questions just hit up the chat on https://pmsquare.com. Happy to help.

Another idea is (if you are using Framework Manager on that same machine): Add the text files as ODBC sources in FM model.  There are some other concerns with this approach, but it is the only "direct" connection I can think of.  Using Jupyter notebooks and the associated automation is another idea IF you are using that extension.
