Dear all,
yesterday i tried to make some upgrades to my AIX system.
OLD Versions
AIX 5.2 ML8
HACMP 5.2
AIX upgraded successfully to 5.3 TL6
When i tried to upgrade HACMP to 5.4.... oh my god. The installation of filesets run without error but when i tried to access the HACMP configuration ....i took the following errors:
1800-106 An error occurred: │
│ │
│ Error: Can not get objects from class HACMPsite: 0519-011 libodm: The │
│ object class name specified does not match the │
│ object class name in the file. Check path name and permission │
│ s. │

│ 1157103587:nctsha:Standard::ncts1 ncts2
I found from internet a workaround which mention a similar problem..and it solved with patching HACMP with SP. I download SP4 and run it...the paching completed with success without solving my problem...
ANY EXTRA OPINION? HELP THANX
@I cannot remove hacmp configuration.....see above.
@I tried to remove the hacmp software ..but it says that it must remove extra pre-require filesets (which i believe that they are important for my system) so i cannot proceed with that.
