Can any one tel me how to upgrade webMethods from 8.2 to 9.8 ?

Is that directly possible from 8.2 to 9.8

OR

Is that done from 8.2 to 9.5 and again 9.5 to 9.8 ??

Hello Varalakshmi,

The webMethods upgrade from 8.2 to 9.8 by using migration utility or follow the below steps.

1.Take all Package full releases from wM8.2 and moved to wM9.8.
2.Take TN objects backup from wM8.2 by using assert management in MWS.

In the similar way you take backup of every component of wM8.2 after you upgrade to wM9.8 by using SAG documents.

we can upgrade directly from wM8.2 to wM9.8. Please find the attached document and it gives the best solution.
