Update 12.2.2

    Hi,

    I'm on Cognos Cloud and since the update I have no access to my dashboards.
    In title you can see an message:

    Maintenance Due to changes that happened on the last system upgrade on, March 31th 2022, there was changes to the IP address for allowlist for cloud based datasources. Please open a ticket with support to get the updated list.

    I don't where I look for the updated list.
    For the reports it works fine.I'm on Azure database.

    Hello Patrick,

    This is not what I expected.
    I run Cognos Analytics on Cloud on a Mac and Windows.
    With the latest updates and using different browsers.
    Still no dashboard.

    Hi Jan,

    what the issue exactly? Don't you see your dashboards anymore or do you receive an error message when opening them? If there's a message: what is it?

    Hello Robert,

    I do not get any error message.
    I see only object object.
    See also the attachment.

    When making a new dashboard I get a message choose a tab.

    I'm not very familiar with the Cloud system of Cognos Analytics so I have assume that the dashboard doesn't find its datasource. You've said you are on Azure DB. If the valid IP addressers have been changed you or your It system administrator/manager who's responsible for the Cognos system should open a support ticket at IBM support.
    Here, it's "just" the community of users and a few IBMers to support users with their use-cases and questions. We can try to support you even when you have software errors but in most cases IBM has to chime in.

    Hi Jan,
    I had the same issue. You have just to update the extension dashboard that you had previously loaded. In my case, it was this one TabWidget_11_2_2. Ans now it is working.

    Hi All,

    It was not only the not installed 11.2.2 updated Extensions.
    I had also the CogBox installed.
    This works not right on Cognos Analytics on Cloud SaaS.

    Hi Jan,

    Can you be more specific about what you mean by "I'm on Cognos Cloud"? This could be one of a few options:
    - The "on-demand" IBM Cognos Analytics cloud SAAS offering, that you can sign up for on a seat-by-seat basis, managed by IBM
    - The "dedicated" IBM Cognos Analytics cloud SAAS offering, where your organization has a dedicated instance of CA in the IBM cloud, managed by IBM
    - An "on-prem" install of IBM Cognos Analytics running in a VM in a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud etc) managed by your organization
    - A "hybrid cloud" cartridge of IBM Cognos Analytics running in IBM Cloud Pak for Data, managed by your organization

    Hi, are you using any extensions, in particular the "Tabs" one?
    If so, make sure to update with the latest version available in the Accelerator catalog.

    Hi, are you using any extensions, in particular the "Tabs" one? If so, please make sure you have updated this to the latest one available in the Accelerator Catalog: https://community.ibm.com/accelerators/catalog/content/Present-additional-content-by-adding-a-Tabbed-Widget-(11.2.2-and-above).
    You should also be able to test your environment in a so called factoryMode, ie with extensions disabled: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cognos-analytics/11.1.0?topic=views-running-cognos-analytics-customized-extensions-disabled

    Do you have an IBM Customer Number (ICN)? If so, you should be able to go to the IBM Support site at https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/?language=en_US and open a case there.
