  • 1.  Uninstalling Cognos With Multiple Cognos Environments Installed

    Hi, 

    We currently have two separate instances of Cognos 11.2.4 running on one of our servers. We are wanting to remove one instance of Cognos, while keeping the other intact. I was able to find the Uninstall_IBM_Cognos_Analytics executable in the install location, but I do not know if running this would affect the other instance. I was not able to find an answer online and was wondering if anyone has been able to uninstall only one version of Cognos successfully in the past using Uninstall_IBM_Cognos_Analytics.

    The uninstall belongs to the installation where you found it. So you should have found two locations.

    Use it in the location (Cognos instance) you want to remove.
