    The package may be invalid. Obtain a new copy of the corrective service package and try the operation again.

     

    sha256sum _ size is perfectly as same as website given.

    able to do  loopmount .iso file on NIM server (where iso is saved) for testing.and date on HMC looks fine.

    Any lead ?

    I create a VM with V8R8.5.0 and try to upgrade to V8R8.6.0 same issue.

    I think the best is to start from scratch.

     

    A work around please ?

    My HMC is a 7042CR6, and checking this IBM website (https://www-304.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/f/power5cm/supportedcodeHMCHW.html), this Model supports at maximum V8.860. I updated from V8.850 to V8.860, and SP3 after that, with no problem. Well, to get the firmware of a managed system I wanted I need at least 8.860 SP3, then I will stay in this version for a while. I am planning to install a virtual HMC to replace that one.
