Hello, for logistical reasons I need to put an IBM TS4300 connected to 120 volts, and later I would change it to 220, according to the manual its power source is autosense and covers both ranges, but I already had a surprise with another server. Can this be done? Set it to 120?. reggards

PS: This library will be connected to a power 10

Autosensing is normally quite good.  Even my outlet-to-USB power chargers supplied with my cell phone are rated for both ranges of power.  They are very small labels and you'll probably have to use your phone's camera zoom to read it but yours should be also.

A power strip in our rack looks like 110 outlets but it's really 220.  I've never had a problem with 'computer grade' equipment.  However a household grade power strip plugged into it instantly smoked out.

I have heard horror stories about computer equipment being plugged directly into household grade generators and meeting a bad end.
