  • 1.  Trigger automation script through escalation which will send out list of work order Materials to user/group of users

    Hello All,

    I have a requirement where I have to send a list of work order materials to certain users when a work order is Cancelled. 

    I was thinking to write an automation script which would be triggered by an escalation and will send a report to the user/groups

    Can anybody help with the example and how to achieve this?

    You can write an automation script on status of WO to CANCELLED. See attached link on how to send email using script.

    Hi Suhas,

    I am not using communication template as I think it wont support dynamic list of items listed in there 

    So as a workaround I have written a script that triggers when Work Order is cancelled and a mail is sent out that has an excel attached to it and contains the list of Items which are not yet received). It is working as expected.

    Hi Team,

    Create an escalation with your condition and action to associate your automation script to report customisation and then call the communication template along with group of users in Roles application.

    This will work surely..
