Does anyone succeed to use the Tree Control in Application Designer ?
I'm failing to use it. I don't understand really the usage ot the different properties.
I checked the native usage of the Tree Control in Library.XMl and in all cases, a specific Javabeans has been coded and the code is linked to specific attribute or object...

I too tried to use this under Maximo 6.2 but could not get it to work.
A useful example of this would be to have a hierarchy of work orders or job plans to navigate through
It would be helpful of IBM to provide an example of how to leverage this functionality and offer up some sample code.

    Hello Hugues,

With the last version of Maximo 7612, there is a new tree control that you can use, which is really simpler that the previous one.
It is based on relationships between records. Easy to customize.
Feel free to ask question here if you don't succeed.

Hello Jean-Philippe, Thanks for your answer. I installed the 7.6.1.2 but I dont see any new Control in the Control Palette. Is this new Control hidden ? How to activate it ? How to use it ? Such new capability would be really appreciated !

    Hello Hugues,

I don't think it is included in the control palette to insert it through the WYSIWYG editor.
But you could include it in the xml with a text editor.
You should get a look on the library.xml, in the dialog id="extendeddrilldown".
To activate the new drilldown, there is a new property to alter.

So does this new drilldown offer support beyond Asset and Locations?
If you wanted to have a hierarchy of Work Orders(or Job Plans) what would need to be the child/parent relationship name for this control to work?
