Hello, I am a Student trying to recode some variables. The Analyse "Frequencies" is working and I get an Output, but when I try Transform "Recode into different variables" I don't get any Output. I get redirected to the Output (Statistics Viewer) but there is no Output. And I don't get any Error messages. 

I use SPSS on MacOS Monterey and I use the Version 29.

Recode is a data transformations, so the only output is the new or changed variables.  You should see them in the Data Editor.

I would suggest, though, that  you go to Edit > Options > Viewer and check the box "show commands in the log".  Then the Viewer will have a log of everything you have done.
