Jon Peck is a Senior Software Engineer for SPSS. He has worked with SPSS since 1983 and will be retiring at the end of 2015.

If you have asked a question about SPSS Statistics anywhere on the internet, there is a good chance Jon has helped you out. He is one of the most active members of the SPSS community, on this site as well as many others. Even though he is retiring, he is planning to stay active on the forums.

In addition to his community contributions, Jon has also developed most of the SPSS Statistics extensions that can be found in the product as well as on the IBM Predictive Analytics GitHub page.

For more information on Jon, take a look at this interview from 2009 where he discusses his background and career.

Thanks for everything Jon - cheers to a hard-earned and well-deserved retirement!

For someone who is supposed to be retired, you sure do work hard (am I'm thankful for that). You are still answering questions, still producing valuable content, still there when we need help. Guess Rock Stars never really retire (yea!!).
