    Anywhere Work Technician 7.6.4:

    My organization spent months troubleshooting an issue with Anywhere. I thought I'd share:

    The changes-only (delta) option in Anywhere wasn't working at all for us. Not even after a second attempt. Anywhere would always do a full download, even if the user clicked the changes button.

    In our case, a full download takes half an hour, so this was quite a nuisance.

    The problem ended up being that push notifications was enabled. Once we disabled push notifications, the changes-only option magically worked.

    Steps:

    1. Navigate to the path "IBM\Anywhere\MaximoAnywhere\apps\WorkExecution" and open file app-features.properties
    2. Update the property pushnotification.enabled value to false
    3. Then applications need to be rebuilt and installed on the device (clear the data)

    Hopefully that can save someone some headache. It wasn't an intuitive problem/solution for us; I don't know why push notifications would prevent the lookup data from working properly.

    You know at least that you can't use push notification��
