The Content Navigator session hangs and does not allow logging in again.

    Hi All,

I have a development environment set up on a single server with WAS v9.0.5.14, Filenet/CPE v5.5.8, Content Navigator v3.0.10 and Case Manager v5.3.3, and after some time logged in the session drops and when I try to log in again I get the Content Navigator and/or Filenet/ACCE browser screen as per the messages described below, sometimes it comes back with restart of Websphere and cleaning of temporary files, but it usually only comes back after restarting the Windows Server. Would anyone know how to solve this problem?

    Browser Messages:
    ------------------------
Cannot connect to the web client.
You might need to authenticate to a firewall, or the web application server might not be running or cannot be reached because of network problems.

If you need to authenticate to a firewall, authenticate and try to log in again. If the problem persists, ask your system administrator to review the web application server log files.
    ------------------------
The following deployment parameters cannot be retrieved: Error 500: java.lang.NullPointerException
A parameter was invalid or missing, the server could not connect to the target deployment server, or an internal server error occurred.

Verify that you can connect to the target server for the deployment. Contact IBM Software Support if the problem persists.
