In terms of why attend, I would say there are two key things about TechXchange

First and foremost there are a lot of deep technical sessions run by people who really know what they are talking about. So if you want to find something out about an IBM product, TechXchange is the place to go.

Secondly, the conference covers the IBM products that customers USE not just the ones that have a current marketing story! Unlike THINK, backbone and less trendy products get plenty of air time.

Oh, and there's a bunch of Champions there too....

Why I want to go to TechXchange 2025!

As a first time IBM Champion, I really love the idea of meeting with other Champions and talk, X-change and learn a lot.

And as my daughter is in training (intern) to also become an application developer like her father - I will take her with me - I think there is also a lot to learn for her.

So TechXchange will be a father-daughter trip for me - and we both really look forward to it.

As an IBM Champion and IBM Redbooks author, I'm excited to attend IBM TechXchange 2025 to both learn and share my knowledge with the broader community. I've submitted two sessions this year; the first highlights my latest IBM Redbooks publication, where I'll dive into workload-specific tuning for IBM FlashSystem. The second is tailored for Business Partners interested in effectively monitoring their customers storage environments using IBM Storage Insights.

If both sessions are accepted, it will be a great opportunity to share my real-world experiences and practical insights. Beyond presenting, I'm looking forward to engaging with fellow IBM Champions, exchanging ideas with global experts. And of course have some fun while we're at it!
