    Hi All,

    We have a business requirement where we need to build a capability where multiple users can work on a single task using IBM BPM's task collaboration feature.
    But I noticed in IBM's official document that 
    "The task does not support collaboration because it is implemented using a client-side human service; "
    All our tasks are implemented using CSHS.

    I see that there is a REST API available for this : "Invite a User for Task Collaboration" but this also doesn't work as it throws error ""CWTBG0549E: You are not authorized to perform the 'invite' action.". even though I have admin access and I am owner of the task.

    Is there any other way to implement it?

    Can you further define what you mean by working on a single task? Do you mean several users working on several areas of the UI for the same task instance, like with the (now deprecated) collaboration feature supported by coach views?
    Or do you mean that several users get to work independently on parts of a task (multi-instance style)?
    Or do you want the same task instance to be worked on by user A, then user B, etc. until a user actually causes the task to complete (causing process navigation)?

    Can you explain how are you inviting other users to collaborate ?

    Here is a picture what collaboration means. It has been deprecated.

    It is a Human Service (Part of 8.0 Process Portal)  that uses Collaboration Handler https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SS8JB4/com.ibm.wbpm.ref.doc/topics/rcollaboration.html
    It uses Collaboration API

    Collaboration was part pf Process Portal V8.0.
