  • 1.  System properties for mailserver donbt reflect

    Hello,
    I’m using Manager Server and Console 6.1.5. I want to configure the mailserver address in System Properties on Admin Tab, so that Manager console can send an alert email on rule voilation.

    I have changed the MailProperties.properties file to reflect my mailserver address as per the instruction given in BAM user guide “Changing Settings for Sending Alerts”. I did the refresh and restart Controller and satellite but still the changes were not reflected in System properties on Admin tab.

    Any suggestion how to resolve this probelm.

    Hi Rajesh

    U should have Non Authentication SMTP Access for your Machine IP specifically, where the controller is running.

    Check with ur admin peoples to get the non auth smtp access for ur machine ip.
