I guess Manager 6.1.5 is the most buggy of all. After spending hours trying to get a few things straight and working I have given up and am posting my questions here:
- If I have rule which has the following expression:
Simple Expression
Property
OMI
OMIBroker stats:numEventsQueued
reading.value
GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO
Literal
75.0
This is basically similar to the preset rule “Broker_Server_Queue Length” and “Broker Client Queue”.
Is my understanding correct that if there are more than 75 documents total across Broker clients on the Broker, it should send an alert? I am attaching a screen shot. The Rule Expression says "80 intervals of 151814.0 >= 75.0. However, there aren’t these many documents in the queues but there are definately more than 75. However, I don’t have any alerts. Am I understanding it wrong or something awry.
- Is there any way I can manipulate the alert method to instead of sending an email, I can write to a file or route to some other option to be used by a incident tracking application?
