  • 1.  sudo binary path when installing from AIX toolbox

Hello community - Need to understand what the official path to sudo is for AIX when installing from the AIX toolbox.

Online documentation is not clear. We THINK it is /usr/bin/sudo but we need to be clear before we update a .

We need this info for the following AIX levels:

    7.1
    7.2
    7.3

    Much appreciated!

    Thanks,

Sudo gets installed in /opt/freeware/bin path but it also create a symlink in /usr/bin

Our recommendation is to use /opt/freeware/bin path for AIX toolbox packages as not all packages create symlink.

    Thanks,
