Hi All,

Watson assistant is storing all user conversation and can be seen from "Analytics" section in dialog skill. Is it possible to restrict saving user conversations or "Analytics" in Watson assistant.

Please help here.

  This may be possible, but it depends on where you are using Watson Assistant.  Are you using it as part of Cloud Pak for Data, or are you using it on the IBM Cloud?  If you are using it on the IBM Cloud, are you using a Plus instance?  An Enterprise instance?

Thanks for replying Daniel, I am using Lite plan on IBM Cloud . By definition it will save 7 days of User conversation fr analytics but I did not find  any place where I can restrict such functionality.

My main goal is to restrict users from giving PI,SPI data or restrict watson to store such data.

Any help is appreciated

  The ability to stop the logging of ANY conversational data is limited to Cloud Pak for Data implementations, and implementations using the Enterprise with Data Isolation plan.  It is not available with the Lite plan.

  With that being said, if you are using Watson Assistant with an orchestration layer, you can set the X-Watson-Learning-Opt-Out header parameter to true.  This will stop IBM from using any of your data - but does not limit the logging of conversational information.  Check out the entire section of the API Guide on Data Collection (https://cloud.ibm.com/apidocs/assistant/assistant-v2#data-collection).  Pay particular attention to the section on Data Labels (https://cloud.ibm.com/apidocs/assistant/assistant-v2#data-labels), and the link to the Information Security (https://cloud.ibm.com/docs/assistant?topic=assistant-information-security) section will probably answer ALL of your questions in this area.  Read past the GDPR sections, and read the whole section.  Some very good information and guidance there.
