SSL for Framework Manager when installed on development Application tier server

  • 1.  SSL for Framework Manager when installed on development Application tier server

    Our Cognos development environment consists of a gateway and application server running on Windows Server 2019.
    On the application server we also have Framework Manager installed.
    I recently renewed the SSL certificates for the servers and that went very smoothly, but I have a question about Framework Manager SSL.

    Do I generate another SSL certificate for the 32 bit keystore for Framework Manager using the ThirdPartyCertificateToo.bat (that SSL certificate just expired), or is there a way that I can use the one I already generated for the 64 bit keystore on the same server?

    This has been resolved.

    While not recommended we copied the csk and certs folder from 64 bit installation folders to the 32 bit installation folders.  This way I have the new cert in the 32 bit without having to generate a new cert.
