Hi All ,

Is it possible to restore a snapshot to a different running volume group that has the same set of volumes /  capacity?

From what I see, the only available options are creating either a full clone or a thin clone from the snapshot. I'd like to know if there's a way to achieve this directly from the command line.

We have restorefromsnapshot in 9.1 code level. It naturally runs on the same volumegroup. What do you mean by different volumegroups contains the same set of volumes?
