Hi Carl,
It might be a simple workaround, but you could try the following URL:
http://<cognos_server>:9300/bi/?perspective=content&tab=teamContent&folder=<Team Content ID>
Replace <cognos_server> with your server name and change
<Team Content ID> with the ID for Team Content (listed in Team Content / General / Advanced).
Best regards,

Subject: Show content view as home page for certain users
Hi David
Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I have tried these options but cannot see where I can set it to the 'content' view as per below screenshot (so home page is set to team content, list view, and row size set to compact).
Any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Carl

Hi Carl,
You can set several options in Manage > People > Accounts > Cognos > (select role) Properties > Customization > Features > Home > Collections > .com.ibm.bi.commonHome.sections AND Navigator.
Perhaps these can provide what you're looking for.

Subject: Show content view as home page for certain users
Hello,
I am trying to set the Cognos 11.2 home page (for certain users only) to look similar to Cognos 10.
My idea is to customise the SampleWelcome extension to show the content view (as in perspective=content with the list view selected and the settings set to compact). I can then set this as the home page for the required user group.
Does anyone know how I should modify the spec.json file to achieve this? Or is there an easier way?
Thanks in advance, Carl
