Unable to adjust Count in such a way that it shows Count for each rows (like count for less than 34) as demonstrated in the tutorial.

The URL in the first picture seems to be pointing to another company's tutorial and I don't know if I could get access to it.  Even if I could, I'd need to go through it to find the place you are. 

It might be helpful if you define the problem in a slightly more detailed form.

I think what you have encountered is that you have not dragged the query item into the report at the right place. 

As a consequence, it got added as a separate query on the page, as at the top of the picture below.

Drag the query item to a position just to the right of your Membership group column and a flashing indicator is showing, as pointed out by the arrow in this picture.
