Is there a way as an admin to login as a guest user or a user that will have a different role so I can see what they see? We are currently using single sign-on through LDAP and I don't want to remove that, but I also want to see what the users see, so I can make sure I have the correct capabilities etc.. setup.

It would definitely be a nice to have.

You could create another user and login as that user. with your admin account change the security of the new user to match the users you are checking.

You could remote to the users PC and see what they can see whilst they are logged on. (Not ideal, but does work)

Yes you can do this.  We use single sign on and we have test accounts created so that we can verify security.  If you open a Chrome Incognito window or Edge InPrivate window, Cognos will prompt you for login credentials.  This is where we enter the test account that we want to use.  This way we are able to easily test and modify security permissions as needed without assistance from other users.
