  • 1.  SDK vs API REST

    Hi,

    We need to get some data from the content store about some artifacts like dashboard, reports (report, query, analysis), published metadata, cubes, etc. For each of then we need a name, date of creation, modified by, etc.

    I was looking for information about how we can solve that. I founded two options, on one hand we can use de SDK and by other hand we can use the new REST API introduced in Cognos 11.X.

    I need to know if SDK and API REST are in the roadmap and if you could recommend us one of them as IBMs vision.

    ​It solves some of the features you are looking for.
