    Dear community,

    Is it possible to start the Java process as a service under Windows with the Data Server Manager Console 3.1.2.0?
    With version 2.1.5 there was a possibility with "\bin\installservice.bat".

    Hello David,

    For now, IBM Db2 Data Management Console not support Windows Service on Windows platform, hope we can support this feature in future release.

    Hello Yun,

    this feature is very useful. Currently, the service has to be started manually after each maintenance etc.
    It also makes it easier to monitor the Data Server Management Console functionality.
    Java processes can also get out of hand very quickly.

    Thanks David sharing your insight here! I do agree that supporting DMC running as a service is very helpful. We once do this before but encountered some problem when stopping the servic, so this capability is now removed. We will revisit this item when bandwidth available.
