Big difference between BPM admin and BPM dev roles and responsibilities.
Since this forum post is old, you probably figured this out :)
Tactically, a diversely skilled BPM dev can perform many BPM admin tasks, snapshot process app deployments, user/group/profile configs, monitoring BPM process and process center health, even applying maintenance updates and patches...BUT
a skilled BPm admin also becomes proficient with WebSphere ND admin and automation takes a learning skills curve, the BPM admin must support several BPM deployment environments : Dev, Test, QA, Prod, and must automate alot of tasks with scipting to survive.  Hope this helps a little.

    Hi Ramesh,
Those are different roles.  The administrator is supposed to make sure the infrastructure and runtime environment is up and running, ready for execute assets (process applications) built and deployed by developers.
The developer deals with creating the process application (among others) as such. He is reponsible for creating BPDs, build coach views, test, playbacks and so on...
