hi all,
I use PuTTY from my windows machine to access the AIX machines.
Things were fine until recently when I came across a wierd problem...
Whenever I try to paste some text in PuTTY window (either using mouse or SHIFT+INS), my PuTTY session hangs for few seconds before throwing out "Network Error: Software caused connection abort" error message. On the AIX m/c, I can still see the session running (bash/ksh processes are running & in idle state).
No matter from where I'm copying (either windows or another PuTTY terminal), the error persists.
Interestingly, the problem seems to exist only in AIX 6.1 m/c as there is no problem on my other AIX 5.3 machine.
Another interesting thing that I found out, the sessions are dying only when I copy more than 60 characters ! Till the point I copy <= 60 chars, the PuTTY is happily pasting in the terminal.
Does anyone experience this kind of problem?
I dont know how to solve this thing, any pointer in this regard will be very useful.
Thanks in advance.
