    I have a question, i have a 7044-170 running AIX V5.2, when the system boots up the mouse is not responding, the pointer remains dead center of the screen, the keyboard works fine, mouse0 show us as defined but not available and its location is shown. Its an IBM 3 button optical mouse (it is powered, red light is on) and i've tried another mouse with the same results, what could be happening here?
