  • 1.  RHEL High Availability repo still needed?

    Posted Wed December 27, 2023 04:58 AM

    Hello!

Quick question for needed RHEL repos on latest PowerVC (2.1 / 2.2) installations:

Configure these repositories for RHEL and SLES respectively based on the environment.

    1. Yum repository for PowerVC install through RHN and make sure that the following repos are enabled.

    >> Is the HA repo still mandatory / required for Single Node PowerVC installations?

    Hi Tommi,

the HA repo is always needed (also for a one node cluster), except if you install PowerVC in legacy mode.

    Legacy install of PowerVC

    Ibm remove preview
    Legacy install of PowerVC
Using OpsMgr, perform legacy install of version 2.2.0 on a system in which RHEL HA license is not required.
