from a technical perspective it will be possible for you to install the firmware package on the machine with serial number Y, while the packkage was downloaded from Fixcentral with serial number X.
But, according to IBM agreements (such as IBM GMTS - Z126-8565 / IBM TSA - Z126-8668), the right to use new versions, releases, or updates is only granted during the maintenance period. Applying updates without active maintenance can be considered a breach of license terms.

Can i update the firmware package of X machine with the Y machine's firmware packages?

I am not aware of any recommendation from IBM stating like "always download the firmware package for each FlashSystem, even if it's the same FlashSystem type."
It is technically possible to download a firmware package from IBM FixCentral using serial number X and then install this package on the system with serial number Y.
The downloaded firmware package is not permanently assigned to a specific FlashSystem serial number.
However, since downloading a firmware package via FixCentral is only possible using a serial number with a valid maintenance contract, (in my opinion) installing the package on another system is only permissible if that system also has a valid maintenance contract.
