Are there any ways we can have CSV / EXCEL output file encrypted (password protected) while getting exported to the file system? The way it does to a pdf output.

I don't believe it would be possible with CSV file, or even with Excel format.

You might want to script something (out of Cognos processes), maybe with Powershell scripting or VBA.

Patrick is correct. However, it would be very useful as an enhancement to be able to password protect all output. It might be worth raising it as an idea with IBM to get it on the roadmap. I assume that IBM had to work with Adobe to get similar into PDFs so it should be possible.
