  • 1.  Report - Format type

    Doing a report using a date field, but unable to change the format as it only shows type "Text".

    Anyone had this issue?

    Not sure I have had your identical problem, but I've had similar, where I could not specify a date format for what I thought was a date field. What's worked for me is adding to the data item a CAST, e.g.: CAST([DepartureDate],date).

    Hi,
    If it's a crosstab or chart I suggest to change the text source to "Data item value". Afterwards you can edit the data format optons.

    Thanks Robert.

    Changing the source type of the crosstab node member from "Member caption" to "Data item value" solved the issue.
