I am using SPSS Statistics version 26 and needed to use the R extension.  I downloaded R 3.6.3 and went through the steps from this link (https://github.com/IBMPredictiveAnalytics/R_Essentials_Statistics/wiki) to add the extension in SPSS, but after I did so the first time, the "R3.3 Configuration" option did not appear in my Extensions drop-down tab. Now when I try to access it, the R extension does not even come up as an option for me to select in SPSS. Any ideas as for trouble-shooting this?

Version 26 requires R 3.5.x. It will not work with 3.6. Then install the R35 extension from the Extension Hub to enable it.

Integration Plug-in for R does not include the R programming language. Before installing Integration Plug-in for R you will need to install R if it is not already installed. It is available from https://cran.r-project.org/ .
