Last week we released a new Predictive Extensions page that explains how to use and develop extensions in SPSS Statistics and Modeler.



SPSS Predictive Extensions allow you to add functionality to SPSS Statistics and Modeler by connecting to APIs, plotting geospatial data, adding external data sources, processing advanced statistical techniques, and much more. The new Predictive Extensions page outlines the three steps for getting started with extensions: Get Plug-ins, Get Essentials for SPSS, and Get Extensions.

• Get Plug-ins - download the correct version of R or Python for your SPSS software


• Get Essentials - This allows SPSS to interface with language the extension is written in


• Get Extensions- You can download extensions directly from our GitHub page

Are you a developer?


The new page has documents to help you get started developing extensions. If you build an extension that you want to share, we encourage you to add it to your GitHub and submit it to be added to IBM’s GitHub page.
