Question about Implementing SQL Server WinAuth on an existing SQL Auth system.

    Hi,

We have a couple of customers who want to move away from SQL Server mixed mode authentication to using windows authentication for the data sources.

I know you can set bpm.de.db.1.sqlServerWinAuth=true in the properties file, which is fine for a new install, but I don't think you can use BPMConfig -update to modify the existing SQL auth data sources (or can you?).

My plan is to build a dummy BAW system with sqlServerWinAuth=true, compare the data source definition properties  with the existing ones and manually change each existing data source.

Does that pass muster, or are there any gotchas with going that route?

Or is there a way to do the changes automatically after all?

    Many thanks!
