    Hi, i need to know what's the difference between these two license parts:

    D1RP3LL IBM QRadar Event Capacity 2.5K Events Per Second License + SW Subscription & Support 12 Months 

    D0V5KLL IBM Security QRadar SIEM Event Capacity Pack Increase of 2.5K EPS Install SW Subscription & Support Reinstatement 12

    For my understanding both seem to increase event capacity by 2.5k. Is that correct? Can someone confirm that?

    Hi Mauricio,

    If it's an increase depends on what you already got in your BOM .
    Important is the reinstatement! This is only used if your customer support contract for his existing license has expired ! Increase from 0 EPS. The other license is used for brandnew deals. Support part numbers have an „E" letter in front instead of a „D".

    Hi Mauricio

    D1RP3LL is when you are buying a 2.5k EPS expansion for the first time. 

    D0V5KLL is for reinstating support and subscription (S&S) when this has been allowed to lapse.  

    So for example two years ago you may have purchased D1RP3LL and missed paying the invoice on the 2nd year S&S (which is an 'E' part by the way).  To get back to having S&S entitlements you would purchase the support reinstatement part D0V5KLL.

    I hope this helps to clarify those two parts.
